Milani Cosmetics, which touts itself as a leader in multicultural color cosmetics, has launched seven new products for the new year – and promoting its Italian heritage to U.S. consumers with its new sweepstakes. The brand’s new nationwide contest is “Win a Dream Trip to Italy,” which invites women to design a look inspired by an Italian beauty legend of their choice. Entrants are encouraged to share their selfies with Milani to win a trip for two to either Milan, Venice, Rome or Florence for five days, inclusive of hotel and airfare plus $7,500 for spending money. The brand is accepting submissions on its website through March 31st, and will announce the winner on April 5th. The new products are inspired by trends spotted on the runways in Milan, and include formulations that have both metallic and matte finishes. The new products include its “Fierce Foil” collection, which features eye shines, eyeliner, nail polish and lipgloss. The packaging created for the Fierce Foil collection shines as much as the products, with a metallic gold sheen. The eyeliner and eye shadow palette are shown. Laurie Minc, president, Milani Cosmetics, commented: “We are committed to inspiring women through the creation of beautiful products that they want to use every single day, and with these game-changing launches, we continue to push the envelope and are transforming the way our customers look at makeup.”
